Lazy Daisy
A Waterless Water Attraction in the City of Wonders
For those in need of a paradise getaway, the Lazy Daisy Waterless Water Attraction is Palm Springs’ newest amusement excursion, based in the imagined Faux-achella desert valley. In response to the valley’s recent drought, the Lazy Daisy playground has been sustainably engineered to mimic the typical functionality of a water ride without the use of any water. The leisurely immersive experience was designed as a rejuvenating retreat for those requiring a vacation from reality.
Lazy Daisy allows guests to be transported through multiple slides and pools, encountering simulated hydro-therapeutic motions at each new tier. The journey begins with the guest first dropped into the top-level bubble pool, which utilizes a calming rotational motion. From there the guest slides down into the mid-level pool, where they can relax underneath stretchy, bendy, twirly umbrellas. Finally, the guest is dropped into the lowest level pool, where they can bounce around on a trampoline-like surface, and watch the encircling palm leaves dance around them.
Watch out for Delilah the Dino who resides on the attraction’s site. She is a gentle creature, having lived for thousands of years, but she may get easily provoked by those who intrude on her space.
